welp. after sticking thru so much. i can guarantee you (ive got premier right now) but if i EVER miss that grace period for any reason whatsoever and happened to not have cash ingame to spend on bonds, that will be the very last time i play rs. you guys will never get enough money from us.. literal con-artists...

Oh my dear jagex, you screwed so hard with this. First fix these failed updates or you'll lose a huge player base as happened with EOC; PVP etc! The tons of MTX and P2W things don't exists to avoid this? Listen to us, DO NOT increase prices, cuz nothing justify this.

been playing since rsc days, but trust. not an issue walking away at all. definitely spent more than a grand just on members since i was a kid. you guys cant even come out with updates when you say... ie you put django and changed the way loadouts work in the bank and called it ourbank update. STILL NEVER GAVE PLACEHOLDERS. and also, every time you increase prices, you lose customers.. that kid mowing ppl lawns for money cause they're too young to work...seems legit charge them more. but pathetically you guys are counting on some kid's mum to just pay some rediculous fee to keep their child happy. NEWSFLASH - there is a line. lets get real. im not even a WoW fan, but now since its nearly the same price i guess ill have to look into it.

It's always unfortunate to hear about price hikes to membership. It's not that it affects me, but I fear that it dissuades others from purchasing membership.

Personally, I would think it would be more strategic to lower membership prices to garner new/more paying members and then market the other products (such as TH and SGS) to those members, as is currently done. I would assume lower prices would equate to more paying members, and paying members are far more likely to invest in TH or SGS than f2p accounts.

Then again, I don't have any numbers to crunch nor am I a marketing expert. I'm just hoping this is a strategy that has been considered. :P

yea, this is disappointing considering the amount of microtransactions that we have to deal with.

I keep constant membership on 3 accounts and my husband only logs in when i need him to
help me out. He told me to go ahead and drop his membership.

Then ive got 2 i pay for membership when i have the time to play them. This really puts people
off paying for more than 1 or 2 accounts.

My husband also wouldnt buy premier this time because he said why pay Jagex before you know what is gonna happen. If you pay up front they have no incentive to get things right as they already have your money.

I bet premier this year in Nov/Dec goes up too!

Runescape membership is still cheaper than WoW and still gives more "similar" bonuses

My Question: If (next year) I buy Gold Membership again (before my membership runs out) will this price change affect me? Or is this just for normal membership?

you can never compare WOW to runescape... runescapes not even close.

No, you cant compare WOW and Runescape.. Runescape is way better and more fun and easier to understand.


I love this game but get so discouraged of the way things seem to be going with updates,
promises and now this hike in prices.
