One suggestion
in rs every weapon were unique
had unique special to be suitable in different situations
choosing the right weapon made pvp or pvm more interesting
removing the specials of weapons just makes them all the same of the similar tier
solution:
keep the special each of the weapons have
but since its adrenaline now
you can have a ability which changes according to weapon equipped
now for example claws
when the adrenaline bar reaches 50% you can use the ability "slice and dice"
unlike other abilities this ability drains your adrenaline bar instead of filling it
so if you do the ability at 100%bar your bar will be drained by 50% like usual leaving you with 50% adrenaline
this is the only possible solution to keeping each weapons speciality that i can think
of.
this is just a suggestion which if considered can be adjusted to keep the game balanced

I'm really glad that the old XP rates per mob is back to the way it is in the live game. That just made my day!
-------------
"We’ll be keeping an eye on this: we’d still like you to fight things of appropriate level, so that you can feel a progression as the game advances and so that players of different levels aren’t competing for kills. We’ve listened though and we understand that you appreciate the choice. "

Addressing this ^
You're right, we DO appreciate the choice! However, instead of penalising players because they're fighting outwith their level, why not encourage them to fight higher level mobs instead? Make it more worth their while. Increase the drop rates or even add a few really tasty rare drops to certain NPCs. Restricting players by taking away the XP was a mistake and I'm glad you realised that but "keeping an eye on it" sounds a little ominous to me, so why not remember the old adage "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar"?
Make it more attractive to fight higher level NPCs and I guarantee, you'll get the result you're looking for.
I'm also gratified to read that autoattack is going to have more oomph again. Sometimes laid-back training is as important as getting right in there with all the new abilities. Both are things I'd do at different times so I'm pleased that issue has also been addressed.
Anyway, great to know all this feedback is being seriously thought about. Makes me feel a lot more positive about the beta than I was initially.
As Winston Churchill used to say: KBO. ;)
EDIT: bloody typos!
Bet you were hoping for something interesting in here, weren't you?

Really great fixes and all! Except for one thing...
Why multicombat througout runescape?! :@
The beta would improve OVER 9000% if it was added back in. With singlecombat gone, lower levels might find drops stolen by the mightier, and competition would be fiercer.
With a few more adjustments, this might not be Runescape's 2012... THIS time...
