Its not who it scares, but the point of it. Its inappropriate to post it here simply to cause unrest.

Totally rubbish. If you are the ONLY one who found it inappropriate while the other 240 million+ players have no problem then it is YOUR OWN PROBLEM. There is no unrest, only that you are causing an unrest.

I am more than a little worried that if an agreement is struck, the game is going to have a ton of restrictions. China is the fun police, and I can't imagine this being a good thing for players from Europe and North America. So, for now, I am canceling my membership.

Its very unlikely you will see any restrictions once the deal has been made. They aren't going to cause any changes that would risk their $300m that they spent. Restrictions would certainly cause that.
Also, it would still be considered a UK based game. So the Chinese government would have no jurisdiction over the game. Partially why its being bought.
So while I cant stop you cancelling your membership, its a silly overreaction.

I did not bring anything up. You talked about fear but then you found nobody with fear. You said unrest but nobody finds any unrest. Unrest? World 66 Falador? in WoT? Or just in your brain?

Don't worry so much since you only started membership in Feb 2016. Canceling membership about 1 month of membership already? And you made only 4 posts altogether including this one. Perhaps you should give the game and forums a better look and you may change your opinions. But this game is free to play. It is your choice.

Sure I know. It is about the acquisition of Jagex by Shandong Honda, not about the non-existing fear and unrest caused by "fearmonger Dilbert2001".

I am not sure whether somebody else realized.
