Oh, I see, so once you realize you can't back up your claims, you make up some random excuse to avoid having to admit that you can't back up your claims. I should have seen that coming a mile away.

Your referring to the Chinese anti fatigue system? Last I heard it was only applicable to people under the age of 18.

I'm referring to games that are locked to China specifically. The ones that REQUIRE an ID to register (and yeah, when they ban over there, it's a lifetime ban because it's a ban on the ID and not just the account name). ID that can only be obtained if you live IN China.

Which games are these? The only situation that I have heard about is the anti fatigue system (anti addiction) which limits the time people can spend on games in China. Specifically to stop addiction.
I'm sure there are some games limited to China alone, but that has no relation to runescape being turned into one of these games.

Your blind belief that nothing will change because you don't want anything to change is clouding your judgment, IMO.

I'm amiable to agreeing to disagree with you as well, and letting someone else deal with what I can only see as the ramblings of a scaper who just doesn't want change.

I simply pointed out that given that you couldn't stop twisting my words to suit your own points, there was no point in a discussion between us. Anything further I add, you would merely twist in such a way to suit your own agenda.

Call it what you will.

Um, aren't you twisting his words now? He never mentioned that "nothing will change".

Perhaps if you could actually back up your claims you wouldn't have to resort to deflecting and avoiding. And I apologize if you felt I twisted your words, but that is how I interpreted what you were saying.

This acquisition is going to be
HUGELY beneficial!

What this acquisition will do is
give the game back to the players.

Players will try to fear monger or just post their lack of knowledge mixed with whatever fears their mind creates. But the evidence just isn't there to support those claims

What the evidence
strongly
suggests is that the proposed takeover company will not play a part in the game at all. They will leave it
completely
to Jagex.

But why?!
Well! the Chinese economy seems to be slowing down after a huge manufacturing boom. This means that the yuan (Chinese currency) is expected to lose its value. So everything owned in yuan will lose value too.
The solution to not lose value when the yuan does is to buy things that are not governed by the value of the yuan. Such as an overseas company. There is some risk involved in this, so the buying company wants to make sure that they find a company that is stable. Due to the
time constraints
in buying a foreign company they have to make sure that the companies owner(s) will no doubt accept. So they offer them more than the company is worth. This means they will lose some value due to the overpriced offer, but save value over keeping their worth in yuan.

This is called hedging.
