I hope this doesn't happen I'd rather the game not turn into some crappy dead game where buying gold would be allowed. We already have that with bonds too weird to live, too rare to die.

Like fat people ridding their electric scooter to McDonalds for 2 big macs for 5 bucks, players here keeping forking over cash to jagex because they want to.

I Highly doubt that all players would want to pay 75$... they will just quit really.

A number of people would pay even more, but it's not the case here. It would need too much paperwork also. Unless someone with legal experience would lead it. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, let's see what will happen.

Lol. It's not just paperwork & the legalities. There are a thousand and one reasons as to why this isn't possible. Technically, there is no reason why it couldn't happen. Currently Jagex is a privately traded company (shares are not available on any stock markets), however, it is possible to convert to a publicly traded company, and sell shares on the stock markets to any public buyer, including RuneScape players. With an appropriate IPO, the stock would be bought up fairly quickly.

Guilty as charged =,C but I liked all the pretty outfits =,C Jagex did not play fair, its not our fault! I feel like I contibuted to the fall, I JUST liked collecting pretty outfits I didnt mean too =C. Im so sorry!

I find that funny that some peoples complain about solomon store but they have some cosmetic stuff too lol, i'll admit i really like the solomon store, it's totally optional so jagex are doing nothing wrong, it's just funny to see peoples complaining and say they'll add more stuff like solomon, but i'll admit i always hated treasure hunter/SoF, but we can't do much about it, but it scares me because my friend used to play a game called shaiya, they got bought, a year later 3/4 of the players left due to the game being p 2 w now, that's why it scares me a crazy lot.

This is very bad news for all of our players..

Im actually sad hearing this

Will the staff stay the same? I mean developpers etc..

If the Chinese decide we stop old school or we stop this version of the game they will never listen to us and go ahead..

I thought it could never get worse we've had numerous bad updates before 07 and I thought it was finally going in the good direction but now this..
