First: I really like most changes of NXT. At some places the colours look better for me. At some places they look worse.

For an example: The elf city has got stronger, more beautiful colours in Java than in NXT.
That's just my opinion. In general the colours look either paler or stronger. I definitely don't like that. You said, you want to keep the world like we know it, so I hope these changes will get reduced.

Also the shadows look too dark for me or the lightning too bright next to it? I really hate the Vorago cave and some other caves aswell in the current NXT.

Then I got a question. Why do you want to change the item icons? I don't mind them, but I'm wondering because I think the current ones are good.

Keep good up the good work and don't stop beta phase yet please! :)

I have been following every single NXT Main thread; they have been responding.

I wasn't clear enough that I mainly meant they haven't answered questions expressed on this thread. I do apologize for being slightly vague on that. However the fact that they indeed have answered to some completely different questions on other threads that are not related to the issues people have told on this thread is not really helping, especially as the whole point of my post was to criticize mods on being active on Reddit instead of being active here.

As you said this is a beta weekend for only a fraction of the community so I'd think that it's in their interests to ensure that players who are eligible can log in. Yet I see no answers to any of concerns player have expressed here. Thus I wanted to answer to people wondering whether they should disable JAG or not.

"The 'Error Downloading' message - you'll get it if it takes more than 25 seconds to download the client. We'll make this time frame a bit longer in future updates. If you do encounter it, pause any other downloads for a bit (youtube video streaming etc.) and try starting the launcher then." - Mod Kitty

^Can't play on NXT due to this error. Kind of disappointed about it... :(

How can I launch the client? It can't go past loading application resources without crashing. OS Status: Nothing atm.

RS3 Status: 120 Slayer done now onto figuring out what I should do next.

Good job so far i have not got to play but i have watched people play on youtube it looks great.
a few ideas to throw out there to help pull you in graphic wise and sound and things. a few wood chips fly while chopping wood , or chips of rocks fly while mining and little bit of dust fly. Make dust fly up a little when walking in a area like Al Kar. and may dust fly by like a storm every now and thin like while standing in bank see dust fly by. Maybe a sun or moon in sky when looking up in areas. The sound of frogs and crickets at night areas by water. A few mpc that say something witty or anything when you click on them like a vender makes if feel more interactive. mail boxes and more signes by roads to help new players out walking around.A postion sound like in diablo 2 when you use a flask or postion in combat would be cool. maybe some screen shaking just a little when a boss or big moster is walking around to give weight to its size. sound of coins moving when trading or buying something. just a few ideas to not change but enhance the feeling of awesome runescape

First of all NXT looks great. However I have noticed a major lag/delay in it. For example after I press the arrow key to move the camera it take over a second to start reacting. Also it has become nearly impossible to click while running. For example clicking on the bank while in motion toward it. I pretty much have to wait until I come to a stop before I can click the bank. I'm not sure if this is due to the same problem as the lag or not. By the way I normally play on high detail with max graphics on the old client and with NXT I am still having problems on mid and low.

Does not work with J.A.*. and Authenticator is not an option for me NOT AN OPTION in no form. I also notice that you took away the fixed screen (my brother is testing also) I have to use magnifyers and screen readers for visually challenged the small screen with out the inv etc makes it easier for me to "see" with what sight I do have. Please tell me you are not going to remove this option or that we will be able to use an older client so that I may continue to see the screen with minimal problems.for me and other visually challenged players
