Just wanted to note a few issues ive came across.

When walking in and out of falador my mini map sometimes blacks out, during two quests, shades of mort'ton, and stolen hearts, i had no picture during cutscenes. Entirely black screen, other than the little arrow to move through it at the bottom. Not really experiencing other bugs, but those are pretty hard to play with.

I am on ultra settings, with a GTX 980 graphics card and an intel I7 6700k for reference. Thanks for considering me for the beta, i am enjoying it thus far and will come back with anything else I come to encounter.

I really love the graphics in NXT but i have one big issue: The loading time after teleporting is massive. About 20x as long as when not playing NXT. It's especially annoying when doing farm runs and you have to wait 30 seconds until your patch is visible and "touchable" because the herb for example takes that long to show up to be able to pick it.

Everytime i teleport somewhere, it takes ages to load. Also, my bank takes about 10 seconds to load completely (showing all items) where there was virtually no loading needed in non nxt mode.

But apart from that, the game runs much more smoothly and i have almost no laggs where as in the non nxt game i do experience laggs.

Also, i think you could work on the known NXT issue with the particles. If you wear a 120 cape, the particles are often removed from the cape and are on the head of the player, especially when fighting.

NXT bug: i was playing in nxt and died , no biggie but when i spawned there was no tombstone in my death location, no timer for my tombstone, and no marker on the map so i was unable to reclaim my items i lost all the gear i was wearing including some untradables, hopfully my feeedback can solve this case and save others expensive gear

Finally the first black screen crash of the client after some hours of playing with few problems - teleporting from Ancient Cavern to Max Guild. Black screen and no recovery.

Was just about to go bossing but I'm not sure I trust the client enough to risk the gear. I would have preferred the old type beta with a separate bank.

Started off and the game was beautiful. Really slow and when it came to loading to different places, but wasnt too terrible provided you were not teleporting somewhere. It also recommended a graphics update, which I did after playing for a couple hours, which triggered an interesting issue (1) . After that, it actually ran worse. Really bad and slow graphics. I ended up having to go back and update my graphics driver again through windows update to get it up to optimal performance. After my graphics were back up to par, the NXT would only play like i still had bad graphics.



(1) The Intel graphics driver update that you would get from Intel is actually not the most up to date one you can get if you are operating from windows 10.

Jagex should really feel ashamed; they DO NOT answer to any questions on their own forums, but they DO use Reddit.

However, that's better than not answering questions anywhere. For those who haven't browsed Reddit recently, I can tell you that when NXT client comes out you have to disable JAG. So, you could just do it now, as you have to do it eventually. This information is quoted from Mod Balance on a thread called "Jagex Account Guardian cannot be used with NXT". You have to google that as I'm not allowed to post direct link.

"JAG doesn't protect your account hardly as well as the Authenticator. Not only have we found that players are easily hijacked whilst using JAG, we also know how much trouble it can cause when people get locked out of their accounts whilst using it or when they forget their answers.
If you have the Authenticator, and a registered e-mail which also has 2 factor authentication enabled, then your account is almost totally secure (only someone with physical access to your authentication device could hijack you).
We've not supported JAG for a long time, and have no plans for implementing support for it in the NXT client."

JAG was a good additional layer of security so this is sad news. At least I can remove it now and log into NXT beta, as I know that I have to do that eventually anyway.

In the future I would like to see moderators to use this forum. I don't see any point to even have a forum if it is not used by Jagex.

Where have you been? They have answered most if not all questions in all the NXT Dev Blogs or NXT Updates. Obviously in this thread, little response has been shown because it is an NXT Beta weekend with hundreds of reports flowing in.

I have been following every single NXT Main thread; they have been responding.
