I really like the design and it's something I'd actually wear in public because it doesn't scream DORK. The only people who would get the reference would be fellow scapers. I didn't expect it to be cheap, but $35? Oml. I'd consider it if you posted some concept art of the in-game item and instead of releasing just one item based on the faction of the hat with the most sales you released an in-game item for every faction that the buyer received based on their purchase(s). I.E, if I buy a Saradomin hat I want a Saradomin-related in-game item.

what about us in the premium lot who paid for "any and all extra releases" by getting a premium bundle this year?

Also this. I think Premier club members (Gold) should be eligible for this in-game item. We get those exclusive items that you promise to people purchasing 3-month membership packages that rival in pricing to this. I don't see why this wouldn't be included.

with prices that steep, hopefully they made less than 100 of them each.

I can just see people mistaking the symbols on the hats as being symbols for real world gangs."

LMFAO, I wonder how ppl would react to that.

You have a web development team!

Why did you all outsource a merc* store to a third party?

Make it in house and pass the savings onto US!

Hey,

Running a merc* store is much, much more than just having a website :) Creating the stock, obtaining and storing that stock, organising dispatch and returns, and more is all outside of our area of expertise, and would be less cost-effective than using a provider.

I would write out a full reply for this but it would just be ignored or instantly shot down.

This is a long term solution, when you have more items and when the income from the store can sustain itself. (Probably could now with some items having extreme prices)
This will then allow lower prices which opens the market open to more players generating more business.

A little research into this would show that in fact it's not as hard as it seems although yes storage being potentially the biggest problem. This could all be phased too, so no country is missed. Europe being the easiest to start with before expanding and finally closing the third party store.

There's a ton of modules for e-commerce which would allow you to stock keep if the web team are unable to create their own, which would all be web based too.
