I can't say I disagree with the people in here. You say you can't do anything about the price. I suppose I don't have any reason not to believe you, but if you can't affect the price then do something you can do to make this a better deal. You know that many people are going to buy these caps because of the cosmetic item, in fact I'd dare say you're counting on it, and if that's your play then at least make it pay off for the kind of people that fall for that.
There's other issues I have with this but that's the largest, so rather than write you walls of text might I suggest that instead the popularity of the individual caps only determines the order in which each faction's cosmetic item is prioritised? Or as someone else suggested the most popular one is more impressive? I doubt many will care that they get the cosmetic item anyway if it's not for the faction they wanted, especially if it's for their least favourite faction, and that's a lot of money to ask in return for a "maybe".
I know you're selling caps, but lets not pretend the cosmetics aren't meant to help sell it to those not sure they actually want a cap.
