If they want more profit, they should let us just give them bonds for the cosmetic. I would give them bonds for the cosmetic (or bonds for the hat and cosmetic if that were an option), but I'm not that interested in the hat itself and they seem to be dragging their feet on letting people use bonds for the shop. Bond implementation should come before having these types of promotion.

if it was slightly less money I would buy ALL of them (and yes jagex I do understand your predicament as I work in retail so I understand what you guys are saying regarding the cap prices) but seeing as it's $35 I'll probably just buy one and support my current rs god (zaros) HOWEVER if you guys keep selling these for a long while I probably will slowly and gradually buy each one OVER TIME but not all at once. ALL HAIL ZAROS!

I bought the Seren hat, because I support Seren. I really wish we unlocked an awesome Cosmetic head-piece based on the Hat we bought & Support, and not on the "Winner" Because I don't support it what ever wins...besides Seren. I support Seren... but I bought the hat anyway for support. Go SEREN! :)

Even though i'm gold members I do not support the cosmetic becoming "Free" to Gold Members. Like I said in another post that is like asking for all the in-game Cosmetics from Rune Fest even though you didn't pay to go/go. Not everything is given for free. Even if you are Gold Members. I have seen plenty of the free things given, being used. Yes ofc not "EVERYONE" is going to use what is given free for Gold members, but people do use it. We also get free items every month just being members from the Store that has been pretty awesome.

If you think about it... The hat is pretty decent price. Hey when I bought the hat I got a free pack of cards that was a plus. & I unlock a cosmetic soon to be coming what ever it will be (even though I don't agree to much it will be based off the most bought one and not based off what one you bought.) but hey, still...something they really didn't have to do. They really didn't have to have a merc* store at all, but a lot of people wanted one so here it is. Things have to be jacked up in order for them to make profit, so to be nice they are offering a cosmetic. which in reality, if that cosmetic went into the store that alone would be most likely 10$. Look on the bright side of things people. Geeze.



( I do not hate on the idea bonds being able to be used to purchase things from the merc* store though if that were ever to be made possible so people could buy things like this when you hold a PROMO that gives a in-game item when bought, and so people that can't afford such merc* you offer, they can use in-game cash bought bonds.) :)

The reason this promo exists is to circumvent it most likely. Hence no prepaid card stuff considering we got them every other months for years.

Also why no item has been created most likely.

@Angelina you say you don't support gold members getting the item but if you remember one of the perks in buying the gold package was to get ALL promotion items, did not specifically say subscription bonus so i assume we will get this(atleast i hope), since this is a promotion item seems that we should get this one

But putting 2 and 2 together, ALL the Gold Member items HAVE been subscription related. Treasure Hunter has WEEKLY promotions now that we don't get for free. Solomon has pricing promotions all the time that we don't get for free(or even a Gold Member extra discount), RuneFest has a free* item for attending that Gold Members don't get for free.

Honestly, I'd pair this in with something comparable to RuneFest. See it as a "Buy X and get X free", rather than just a 'promotional item'. Sometimes the 'X free' is total junk(example - toys that come in a box of cereal when no one under 10 lives in your house and is thus totally pointless and goes in the trash). Other times it's the freebie item that gets people to buy in. At this point, you don't know which it is.

Regardless, I don't think this item should be given to Gold Members either. Because if it is, where does it stop? Will us RuneFest attendees be forfeiting our attendance items now? Will we all get a keyboard and headset when they do a forum or social media promotional giveaway? No, it's silly.

We get subscription related items because we already bought into membership and there is no point in racking up years worth of membership just for promotional items, which they finally fixed with adding them into Gold Premier. Anything else, there is nothing stopping you from buying it..

I seriously hope they cover all corners in the next membership package sale to prevent people from complaining. Or just not include promotional items in the description and to just give them as they see fit...
