I just need to ask a question of the ppl complaining about jagex making money. What would happen if jagex didn't think of ways to make money and pay the bills? No more game, that's what.

First of all, this is your own RWT system, even more so then buying spins for the sof was, so any further statements that you are against RWT are going to be patently false. Second, this isn't going to work since the gold farming sites will simply undercut your price. If you were truly against RWT you would ban the 40% you've identified as buying gold and keep banning them until they got the message, rather then selling your own gold.

I won't say I'm going to quit or anything like that, since I don't really care. Gold farmers and RWT are going to happen. I don't like that fact, but a fact it is. I don't do it, nor do anyone I'm friends with, and that's all that matters to me. I doubt I'll ever buy a bond, either for gc or real world cash, since as mentioned I don't engage in RWT and buying it for gc is going to be far too expensive.

I'd say I'm disappointed in you Jagex, but after the sof and buying spins, in this area you didn't really have much respect left to lose.

First of all, if you payed any attention to the video, or read the news post, you would find they didn't say anything about this being an effort to stop RWT.

Secondly, you just agreed that RWT is going to happen regardless. Would you rather see that money go to the people who utilize their minds and energy to allow you to play it, or the lowlife parasites that flood the game with automated money machines and constant intrusive private chat spam? ...okay.

You can't respect a company for keeping hard working minds employed despite all of the efforts of persistant thieves and an ungrateful community to undermine and belittle their efforts? ...I guess that's cool, too.

thats the spirit hobbit...take a stand and rebel against this whole fiasco thats comming...i also intend to play the game as i always have...pay my monthly membership as i always have...and tell anyone who thinks otherwise to kiss my ass! :)

since you can exchange membership for bonds, it sort of defeats the point because you are paying for your membership with your membership.

Well, I was considering continuing my membership, but now that you can buy membership with in-game gold, I think I'm done. I have spent way too much money into this game and it's not worth my time and especially not my money, anymore.

For those who would so ignorantly claim that "I'll be back," please note that there is nothing to come back to. Sure, when Runescape was good, I kept coming back, but now that it's a joke, I don't feel particularly inclined to continue paying for a service/game where my money is being squandered and my long-standing support is being tossed aside by ungrateful mongrels.

Good-bye Jagex. Please enjoy your imminent, and inevitable, bankruptcy.
