No what it really is, is they dont want to set a standard gold price and instead rip people off.

ive done it on my calc.

now we can base all items on the bonds.

10m(current bond price as of now) = *5

2m = $1

20k = 1 cent.

full rune(including kite shield) = about 6 cents(lol)

full guthix = $1

full dragon(including boots and kite) = about the same price as a bond = $5

full torva = somewhere above $100, no joke.

seismic wand = $300

good job jagex, we can now evaluate items in game by bonds....

I gotta say that I'm disappointed in this. I'm normally one to defend Jagex, but this is a terrible idea. You claim that it will nuke gold farming, but all it will do is bring it in-game, rather than them having to advertise websites. Now all they have to do is advertise that they sell *** gold for 1 bond. And then they can use said bonds to fund their membership on the farming accounts. It's like a membership laundering operation. It's actually legitimizing gold farmers, not hurting them.

And as stated before, even if no new money comes into the game, it's still true that you're trading real-life money for an in-game advantage, whether it be gold or resources. Shame, Jagex, shame. This idea is terrible, and should be the thing that's nuked.

So why not just restrict free trade and wilderness again?

O wait, because the 40% that RWT again will complain. Everyone else who actually plays fairly would be happy, but, but, but, that would get in the way of maximizing profit I guess.
