These bonds won't add any money to the game, but the Goldfarmers didn't add that much either. They got their cash by doing things like cutting Yews or killing Dragons, which for the most part doesn't add any money directly to the game. I have no love for the Goldfarming bots, but they make them out to be worse than they are. (Besides taking up skilling and killing spots, and picking up a few coins dropped from the enemies killed).
The SoF adds more money daily than the Goldfarmers do, and they haven't said a peep about that.
But I have no problem with what Jagex has done here, making your in-game wealth actually make the gameplay potentially better, allowing people who don't have much disposable income IRL to buy a few weeks of membership, after a while of money making in F2P. It allows people to get items they always wanted from the SGS, without having to pay money, it allows people to win the special items on the SoF without having to pay.
A great move by Jagex in my opinion.
Just time to remove all cash and Convert to Coin options from the SoF. Replace cash bags with resource bags, give something like the market prices' worth of maple logs instead of blatant money. Some things that sell easily.
Many look at the Bonds as another RWT attempt by Jagex, which in a way it is, just in a roundabout way, that requires demand by the playerbase, but it makes the game better for the people, like me, with less disposable income, but the skills in game to make money.
