this isnt to bad of an idea, put dont you think players will jack up the prices wayyyyyyyyyy to high? the GE already says 15m and im sure with something like this a new group will rise and take advantage of this making prices sky rocket exactly what i was talling a few players in ge who think it wont some how some way some ass holes well figure out a way to still flip these items for huge profit thus massivly jacking up the prices but overall i like this update and let the jagex/rs3 haters ***** all they want there just mad cause they just spend 80 bucks on a years worth of membership and now this came out lol

Folks, I'm just gonna restate it here. Bonds DO NOT , I repeat, DO NOT add gold into the game . You can buy them for real money, but the bonds do not inject gold into the game. They are redeemed for out of game things like membership, sof spins, and runecoins. At no time do these bonds inject gold into the RS economy . It's a gold sink . It's a sure fire thing that billions of gold have already been removed from the game via exchanging them for bonds. I've checked W2, and there are people selling THOUSANDS of bonds. That's a LOT of gold gone from the game. Good work, Jagex. I do hope that people will stop panicking and quitting rs before being fully informed.

It doesn't matter,people still getting rsgp money from paying real life money, which is basically making a lot of money in a really short time, still not fair.

I will say this, I personally do not agree with the "bond" update but that is not for me to decide, I cannot make a company change their mind on anything they decide but I can have my input on what has been updated/changed/taken away, I cannot see into the future so I can't say "oh this is a bad update" but that being said I do have my own opinion on the matter, but who knows this "bond" update being brought into the game could possibly help the game in the long run, but who's to say? We don't know unless we give things a chance, Like I stated before, I might not agree on what is being done in a once very "of it's own kind" game, We will have to just sit back and watch while waiting to see if this is a helpful update or not.

Dude, where is the money going that these so called players gain from the sale of bonds? It isn't leaving the game. It's being consolidated into RWT accounts as before, only to go around the world and back into the game once it's sold irl to 1 out of every 2 players who currently play the game and break rules by buying rs gold.

Aaand I'm done. ********. Jagex, you simply can't do this without a poll. I'd rather have some ******* buying money off scum companies than you actually selling gold yourselves. I know by now that you are greedy ******** only in it for the money but this is a bridge too far.
The least you could have done is ask the players first, most don't give a rat's ass about the goldfarmers since bots aren't that great of a problem anymore. GET RID OFF ALL BOTS IF YOU WANT TO GET RID OF GOLDFARMERS SO BADLY. Now you there at Jagex HQ are the goldfarmers, legitimizing the bussiness.. The game is ******. Thanks. and 0 ***** were givin about you this day

I'm kinda sad to see the game officially go pay2win now. We'll see how it goes, I guess.
RuneScape is never going to be pay-to-win.

Having good items and gear but not knowing how to use them most effectively is still going to leave the player in that situation at a disadvantage to players who have developed their experience over time (both in terms of in game XP and knowledge of the game).
