Jagex, weren't you the ones who had rules about real world trading and the whole point that it is not allowed is because you didn't want runescape players buying their way to success in game?

I believe the rules actually reflect now making Bonds legit. It's quite sad.

this is an amazing update. there has been a few games that have done this and its worked out great for them. and peeps whining bout ppl buying wealth they can already do that threw gold farming bots websites. this is much better then mass bots everywhere running the game and controlling the market so stop whining like babies. the only thing that really needs to be added is bonds should be purchasable threw redeem cards. lot of people don't like using there credit cards cause of people like Microsoft that auto charge without letting you know or approving. redeem cards still get you your money just the same so theres no reason not to allow this.

I would love to see how you came to conclusion about number of RWTs. "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape."

I quit playing runescape a few months after SoF came out, but I occasionally check the news/forums to see if I should come back. The last time I rechecked to forums, Jagex was re-running the alchemist amulet on SoF. Basically encouraging players to spend money to gamble on getting gold.

Now, Jagex is straight up selling gold.

Don't get me wrong, I totally understand where they're coming from and objectively it's not a terrible idea. However, it is not one I support, nor one that would have been supported by the Jagex of 5 years ago. I won't be re-checking the forums.
