This is too expensive. 4.25 € for 14 days of memberhip.... I get 1 month for 5,95€ now.... should be 3.50€ at most if you ask me.
I also think it should give more than 8 spins, maybe 20 spins and 400 runecoins.

@Mod jane , Question about the runefest tickets.

Am i right in thinking for £105 i can get 35 bonds and use them for 2 runefest tickets?

Basically £80 or so off

Or did i miss understand this? :P

I see what you did there :P The maximum you can buy is 2 tickets, but you would need 35 bonds per ticket! :)

it's an interesting idea on a social lvl, however there can be issues with spamming and pleading for bonds.

i really hope that you dont leave this sytem wide open where gold farmers can then turn into bond farmers. it shows that you care for the community.

however, i believe there needs to be limits placed on bonds as far as when you are allowed to use them and how many you can use in a given time period. and there needs to be a limit in the in-game price.

i do hope that, at least, the completionists are able to contribute to the community. it would be a shame to see them as stingy as they practically dont have any reason to extend their memberships anyway.

on a f2p lvl, this is good for letting free players getting a taste of what it's like to be a member if they havent already been one before. i've been a member before but im unable to pay for membership. i''ve been training my magic so that, one day, i can solo or go in a gwd clan. i also want to get a fire cape, those are my biggest goals but they are blocked by my inability to buy membership. it would be nice if a bond were to come by.

so yeah, i support this to an extent

i do enforce the ldea of placing limits though.

Claiming that this isn't pay to win...is at best ridiculous. Player A Purchases a bond for money and sells it for gold...then repeats. Is this not changing real world money for gp? Please enlighten me.

The introduction of bonds into the game is not making the game pay to win.

A player who has invested time in game that has increased their XP and skills and who has developed the knowledge within the game to use items most effectively is still going to be able to be more successful than a player who has simply traded a bond for an item but doesn't have the same level of knowledge or skill levels.

^ EDIT: So we're relying on gold-farmers being ignorant of how the game works? That's a pretty broad assumption and may not work well. If it does work, it's rather cynical anyway. (The nastier side of me would find that hilarious.) Note that the "Mummy's N00B" crowd may get hurt in this as well, though.

I think it would be helpful if a JMod would explain more clearly how these bonds deter gold-farming. It may be that it does so wonderfully, but the explanations so far have been somewhat less than helpful. Sorry. O_o
