Maybe a bit more constructive than the last few pages... Some people have said this in passing and I cannot agree more:

Most of our clan chat has been abandoning our home world (w83 incidentally. Do not go there if you do not like being disconnected) in favour of a dc free experience on w42 (remember to respect the locals if you go, they're nice people).

So... until things start clearing up;
Check out other worlds! Ask around!


It might even be an idea to comprise a list (assuming the worlds affected are somewhat constant, which they seem to be)? So far I know personally of only one world, but since there aren't 20k people there, there must be others.

I'm up here in Canada, and I haven't had any issues either.

If people are having issues with the worlds you're using, maybe come visit the Canada worlds, eh?

I don't know what happened with this update but I have up to 10 second lags, which was is very irritating due to the fact I can't train my combat for risk of dying in a lag, I pay for my membership and I can't even play the game, please fix this problem it is not my internet, it worked great until this new update.

I've been trying many different Worlds and had issues in all, mostly of an evening but that is when I play during the weekdays, of a weekend it can be at any time.

May I recommend that until the issue is fixed, that the bonus weekend is delayed?
It is frustrating enough to be dc'd while bossing or slaying in high risk areas, in fact has made me want to stop playing, but I keep trying as I enjoy the game a lot.
Can you imagine how frustrated the players will be when they keep disconnecting over the bonus weekend?

Its just an idea so please don't rage on me.

Thanks for letting us know. At first I was againts the idea of someone actually DDoSing Jagex to the point where it would cause such damage. How little did I know. Must be quite stressful to fight againts those DDoSers and deal with players' anger and frustration. Sadly many cannot see it that way. Hopefully this we'll get fixed soon :) Best of luck, hehe

Hello Jagex team/ RS2007 team, I hope this is the correct threat to rant about the problem I am experiencing.

I have been a active player of Runescape since the beginning of 2006 and have never experienced server disconnection/ server lagg as bad as this. At first I thought the problem was on my end so I looked at my internet data plan and I can tell you my internet speed is very good I can even provide you a picture of it via the website speedtest.net to show you that the problem isn't due to my internet speed/connection. So then I downloaded the Runescape 2007 Client for Windows to see if that would help with the server dissconection/Lagg but it didn't, so I ask you Jagex/RS2007 team to PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! I am a member and I expect to be able to play Runescape as smoothly as possible and I do not feel as if that is the case. So again PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE DISCONNECTION/LAGG OF THE SERVERS. Thank you.
