not to sound mean or anything....
but you do realise that people dying and loosing items in game is actually good for the economy.
If you go back in the game before we had graves etc, people died, items left the game, which in turn meant the player had to rebuy items back...

On a second note, DDOS attacks bad :D

While this is true, the underlying point is that this item/money sink is not justified. Sure, people dying because of their own mistakes is perfectly fine: in fact, I don't have a problem with it at all. It becomes a problem when people break the law and exploit others/ruin the fun for everyone.

Regardless of your post we pay for a service which you currently cannot properly provide. I have personally lost in the region of 100m due to constant disconnections from servers over the last few weeks.

DDoS attacks have been a known problem for a number of years which means that it is a foreseeable risk that you should of already dealt with.

That old excuse of your not responsible to replace lost items etc upon deaths due to server issues means nothing when the blame to properly control foreseeable risk is at your door.

I will wait to see what you are doing about the DDoS attacks since they are still very much apparent today, as they were yesterday, the day before etc etc etc.

If the game is now pretty much unplayable then it is unfair to your consumer base to continue to allow the game to be played.


I totaly agree but on the other hand Jagex also can be caught offguard. I would say members really should recive some kind of compensation. Most of content is unplayable atm. Ranging from PvM, D&D and dunging - no fun at all


It shouldn't be Jagex's responsibility to reimburse the consumers. When you purchased membership, you agreed to the terms and conditions of Jagex, which clearly states that "We will not replace any items due to lag." This has been addressed and will continue to be addressed, regardless of how many times people complain. Just be patient and wait for Jagex to resolve the issue: they always do.

It sure is annoying getting DC'd every 15 minutes/ when not DCing just crazy lag..... I know its not about internet but I have great internet speed and find this highly annoying as im not used to such lag. This needs to be fixed.

Please consider doing something (maybe a temporary longer time you can log back in - right now when I have done dungeons - two thirds of the time I can get back on and be in the same dungeon - one third I can't so it seems like there is a time limit - it doesn't seem like that long a difference) about dungeoneering - it is really frustrating (especially because I am slow at it) to get to the boss - have everything set up and wind up on the rooftop and have to restart...

Dungeoneering will be difficult while this is happening: I'd suggest to do something different. Try Woodcutting or Fishing: Something low risk that you still need to train. Or try collecting snape grass or dragon scales for money. There's plenty of other things to do!

I agree that refundation for death is not an option. I'm talking about unaccessable content of the game as main point of Jagex existence is providing service and by service i mean playable game. Ofc if it is 1 time occurence it should be pardoned but if problem is common case Jagex is breaking their part of agreement. Also as a customer You have right to just cancel subscription and express how annoyed you are. On the other hand i wonder if Jagex will refund me cash for unused time of membership if i decide to quit.
