Thanks for what you've done Mark I find it sad to see you go but I wish you the best of luck to whatever you're going to do now. I have no doubt that Mod Pips is going to do a fine job but it's allways sad to see such a talent leave. So like I said before the best of luck to you and your oncoming career ^_^

I've always loved Mod MMG's spontaneity and willingness to take risks and try things that other MMO companies wouldn't dare. Blizzard to this day still refuses to release "old school" servers, but MMG was willing to give it a try, and he was very successful. Clearly, they were very successful, as it accounts for a decent chunk of the p2p playerbase. I'm also glad that he supported the effort to end bots and goldfarming. The remaining (few) bots available have become very complex and are more human-like than the bots I've seen in any other MMO. Yet, they are still frequently banned, essentially making botting impossible in RuneScape. This statement cannot be made about any other MMO. Blizzards games are still plagued with bots, many of which are no where near as human-like as the RuneScape bots that are being detected and banned.

I wish you best of luck with your future endeavors. Do you think you'll continue to play RuneScape on your personal account after leaving Jagex?

While I understand that no one cares, I want to list my thoughts about this.


1) I can see why he doesn't mention EoC while talking about good things he's done...
2) Bonds haven't reduced gold farming much. Stop lying about everything.
3) There ARE much less bots than there used to be, which is great, however the game is still in NO way bot-free.
4) The truth is, most of the RS community hate each other more than ever after EoC, OSRS and Legacy have all divided the community further than it already was.
5) While you might be TALKING more to the community than before, I don't think you LISTEN more than before.
6) "Player Power" is mainly polls about THINGS THAT NO ONE CARES ABOUT. The most important updates haven't been polled.
7) I'm not interested in OSRS because I don't want to restart entirely after having played for years.
8) I'm glad he admits that not everything he's done was right. Neither is everything I do right.
9) I know people's been saying this for years, but I honestly doubt the game will remain alive for many more years to come.

Farewell to you, Mod MMG, and let's wait and see in what ways Mod Pips will continue to ruin the game more when he's the new CEO. ;)

Hiya Buck! This is Tala. Jagex stole the real account so I'm stuck with noob status again. Hope both you and Lep are doing well.

I didn't care for EOC either when it came out but have mastered it now and like it better than the old days. I will never spend the time again to reach the lofty maxed stats but it is fun some of the time. At least this time through, I won't be spending my micro dollars on Jagex inventions since I now know that after all that I spend, the items can be taken away thru no fault of my own. I won't miss MMG but truly hope that the new regime might actually find a way to communicate with high level players. This "leadership" lacks any kind of communication.

Change is inevitable. This can only be seen as good news. Good luck to MMG but I for one look forward to new leadership.

Good riddance you lying money grabbing hypocrite.
Don't forget to take SOF/TH Buyable spins with you.
If only these people knew how many 1000's of players
quit due to your Microtransactions that gave the People with
RL cash the ability to buy gold and xp, something you said would
never happen,this was/is ,the reason you became a hate figure
amongst many other broken promises and lies.
You have NEVER explained your hypocricy to your paying public
despite anti SOF/TH threads going up daily.
December i will celebrate both Christmas and your Demise. .And now the end is near its time to raise the final curtain.
Regrets i have a few, but i did it my way.
