Thanks for sacking any good Jagex staff who believed in integrity of the game over short term profit, the most famous of which would have to be Mod Rathe, who told us how he had fought management and would continue to fight them to not allow combat advantages on SoF. We all loved him for it, we all called for him to be made CEO, but we all knew he was in danger, and soon enough he'd gone from the Main Guy for the EoC, to never heard of again.
Thanks for forcing the EoC, which could and should have been a great update, to be released before it was ready, by not supporting updates to the beta while it was running, and then just declaring it was ready because you wanted it to be, leaving the game in effectively a beta state for years afterwards.
Thanks for squardering time and resources on a failed plan to migrate to HTML5 that was never going to work, just because you'd big noted yourself in a livestream by mentioning "Runescape 3".
Thank you for promising to tone down the amount of SoF and Solomon promotions, then in fact increasing them.
Thanks for claiming that the game was in decline and microtransactions were necessary to prevent it from coming to an end, when publicly available records show that Runescape was more and more profitable every year before microtransactions were introduced.
Thank you for claiming microtransactions had given you a "War Chest" to improve the game like never before, then not showing any increase in updates.
Thanks for squandering the profits of Runescape on failed games like War of Legends, 8 Realms and Stellar Dawn, which nobody wanted to play because they were boring and pay to win. Thanks for ignoring these lessons and not considering the loss of players from making Runescape pay to win too.
