Keep both systems that way it will keep everyone happy. If someone doesn't like JAG then they don't have to install it. Make it so that you can set up JAG if you want. And those who want JAG use JAG and those who want Auth use Auth. Easy.

I vote for this,I my self thing JAG is the safer of the two and it is not at all hard to use if you read the step by step how to set it up like runescape gives us.

Efora - Jag hasn't been removed yet, so if your account was hacked your best bet would be to contact customer support, either through account settings or via the forums themselves.

As for the topic, personally I'd like to see the permanent addition of the Auth, but also leaving JAG alone while updating it a bit (removing the hint and the character count for one). This being sometimes a smart phone can become un-synced with the internet and its time stamp gets off. When this is the case you must remove the Auth or wait for who knows how long to even get into your account (this has happened with me recently due to my phone starting to have internet connection issues).

Having used Auths in multiple games in the past I fully support them, but JAG is also a useful tool and should remain to those who would have trouble using one or could not use one.

I would like to disable jag but i dont know my email. I can awnser my security questions i know all of them but i just dont know my email. I was wondering if i could possibly get my jag reset or disabled. If i have to i will awnser my security questions. I can only play oldschool but i want to play other rs.

I have a question about these 2 securety apps..

JAG - do i need to enter my username + *4*sw0rd + securety questions EVERY TIME i'm gonna login to rs? or just a month?

Authenticator - Do I need to have my phone around EVERY DAY for a New code EVERYTIME for a login success?

Hi, this is late but it's still something that's concerning me everything time I log in.

If I change to Authenticator and lose, misplace, break my phone or it gets stolen, what happens then?

Doesn't seem any one's picked up this issue?

Hello, I'm having a bit of a problem, and if anyone can help would be great.

I do not have an android or iphone. So the only way I can use Authenticator is through the pc way.

My problem is I log everyday from 3 computers, 2 are windows and one is linux. And I would like to continue logging from all of them, but I cannot find an authenticator I can use on windows and linux.

Please help?
