I really like the Google authenticator, it would be cool to have a physical one as well for folks who don't have smart phones, like what PayPal has.

If you don't have a smartphone, you can get an authenticator code that you can give to the program WinAuth. It runs on a PC instead of a smartphone, but generates the same numbers. To give you similar security, it's recommended to install it on a USB key instead of on your hard disk as an ordinary program.

I do wish, though, they kept one piece of Jagex Account Guardian - not the whole thing - for use alongside Authenticator. It should be possible to set your account so that you have to answer the security questions before resetting the (login credential) by E-mail. Otherwise, the security is something of an illusion unless you set up two-factor authentication on your E-mail account too.

ok i used a bot and I didn't mean too but my account has been banned from the treasure hunter and trade restriction for a week, but its been like longer than a week and im still not unbanned. this is ridiculous. Apex305

@Apex305 if ur banned for botting, then u'll be banned forever.. rip

..and to all people.. u can install authenticator on ur computer if u have more then one harddisc installed to it... like D, E, F.. it works just fine.. and USB-disc works too. <--

I got Authenticator on my iPhone & I tell it to remember for 30 days. Why is it then that it randomly makes me re-input it sometimes a few days to a week or 2 weeks from when I last did it. It rarely seems to make it 30 days.
