OK. so finally I got to the point where I sucsessfully scanned the code, got the digit code on my phone. Now on step 3 "enter the code" I enter the code and it says "somethingsomething please check the clock on your phone is set to the correct time."
My pc is set to UTC +1 Oslo summertime. MY phone is GMT+2 Central European summer time they are both showing the same time. IF I change my phone to gmt+1 it's one hour behind.
Jagex time is 1 hour behind me.

WHat time should I set it to to ge tthis working!? D:
Any help much appretiated!

Please don't phase out J.A.* because I don't have a smartphone nor will I ever be able to afford one. Your localizing extra security to the wealthy which I find offensive. Finally I'm not going to trust a player recommended third party program to do this on my PC (if it's really possible) until you JAGEX recommend it yourself.

I agree that the authenticator would add more security. But not everyone has a smartphone so why disable JAG? If the authenticator makes non-authenticated accounts less secure (because logging in from other pc's is allowed), then security is only worse overall.

Mocking a disability is not a concise argument.

It's also not a concise argument to try and insinuate that since some disabled people can manage a job, that all can. ^-^
