Thanks for the clarification of what and how these disruptions are happening and why.

Please players *legit ones* that still care and play RS inform Jagex of ANY THING that you come across on the web that breaks their user agreements.

Example: Ddosing
Sale and Purchase of accounts etc

Amascut be praised =) If one gives empathy and solace the the world is a better place

either your ignorant or just not very smart.

If jagex has millions of dollars from membership and SOF/SGS AND has over 100+ severs, THEY SHOULD be able to run some severs, if not they should remove some.
Look right now, about 200-300 on each sever. Easy way to prevent DDoS'ers just delete some severs or with the resources, get a special team dedicated to maintaing the severs.

Jagex is no CIA or Apple, so i have little sympathy for them scaring off their customers, in essence i believe who ever is attacking jagex is doing some good, maybe jagex will wake up and start spending money on game stability.

You obviously know jack **** about DDoSing, Zombie Networks or the lengths gold farmers will (and can) go to attempt to keep grips on their profits.

I'm not normally one to complain, especially about games, but the lag spikes lately is unbearable. I have to stick to mundane tasks and skilling because anything heavier and the game lags, up to over a minute - at worse, I get the connection lost message. I just tried to fight K'ril at God Wars Dungeon and had my clanmates not been there, I'd have been dead. Every time he showed up the game would freeze until my clanmates killed him. Same with any other boss fight really, and it gets worse especially around the time I'm posting right now. Why does the game only freeze up when I do something important? How :jagex:.

I don't know what's the deal, but get this fixed stat. Maybe if you had stamped out goldfarmers ages ago instead of letting the same bots run amok for months.. even years on end, maybe they wouldn't be ddosing.. or whatever it is that's the problem. Not that I condone them, they can :getout:.

But knowing how quick Jagex moves to fix issues, I guess I'll be adding herbs to potions for another six months before I can boss again without my game freezing up for a whole minute then booting me off.
