jagex i wish i knew who was responsible, as i would *love* to see them imprisoned (or better yet, shot between the eyes) and could really use the $10K irl too!! but suckily i dont, and they probably WONT be shot between the eyes :*(

Why didn't you tell us sooner? I'm just glad to hear you are taking action against the people responsible and are working on fixing the problem.

The DDoSer(s?) time is limited. Hopefully they will cease and come clean- if they don't then I don't expect them to fare well when they end up in court.

Lumbridge is still getting DDos'ed, the rest of Rs is fine.

But, correct me if I'm wrong: Wasn't bugabuse shutdown? That or bought by another website.

I know a user's name from there and I'm like 60% sure he/she may have the same name in RuneScape.

And please, don't get me wrong, I'm not a hacker nor have a clue on how to DDoS, I just used to check those forums every now and then out of sheer boredom.

EDIT: I think I might have something that could be used to work from, will send an email shortly.

YES lumbridge and where you turn in daily challenges only has the LAG for me must be all the stuff ( in code ) going on at lumbridge and the fighting where you turn in your daily challenges that slow it down /// all other places i go to have no lag try it go to lumbridge see the lag teleport out to ge and NO lag i am no expert but i thought DDOS attacks go for the whole site not just in 2 locations on the world you are on at the time and even should be on main site before you log in maybe it was new programer that made lumbridge and thats why it is slow just a thought
and they didn't tell us sooner because they had to think up something we would think was true and from most of the thread it worked so just think if it was real ddos attack it would make it hard for anyone to even get the main page to load do to it being busy from the attack but i am not a expert so is it ????
