I disregarded this as a server maintenance post or something minor until I read it.
Well, now I see it's a bit bigger.
I have only two things to say, really.
First, as I don't really have much trust in Jagex, I kinda want to just say this is a bluff to make people disregard bad servers. Obviously, though, I know people would DDOS this game; however, I still feel that could partially be true.
Now the second thing. I'm not surprised that a lot of people are DDOSing this game, assuming they are.
Not sure about bot makers doing it; although bot watch has certainly taken some bots, OSRS has definitely helped their business a lot. Despite the numbers given, I doubt even bonds have truly hurt them much.
What I do know is that customer, or rather, player satisfaction is always low.
What does it say about the game when there are always a ton of complaints with every update?
Well, I think it says that there have been far too many updates of low quality, far too many problems that are going unfixed for too long, and far too little interaction with the community to actually get what they want in the game.
Some people get annoyed to the point where they'll even DDOS this game.
While I think their actions are extreme, I bet if you guys actually considered what we want a lot more often, not many people would reach those extremes.
