I support this even though I'm not interested in Runescape highscores. I play only for amusement.

Give the people who have 200m in a skill a reason to retrain their favorite skills. To anyone else, don't worry about it. Be concerned for your own life and not infringe on the enjoyment of others. Let those who play runescape on the long-term choose how to live their lives. If a online score really upsets you, either do better or find something else in life to be great at.

Competition is healthy. Jealousy is not.

I voted yes because runescape is extremely easy, I mean seriously, ive gotten around 80m xp in the last couple of months without really trying......prestige will make the game harder for those who are dedicated, at the moment im going for 30m xp in all my 99s which is a sorta big goal but I would definitely prestige, I miss fishing for lobsters and fly fishing, it would give that "old school" feeling I quit playing before summoning came out and I recently came back a couple months ago and was shocked at how messed up the economy was, how easy it is to get money, and how easy xp is atm, I can get 1-2m xp a day no problem if I want to, I can make 30m gp a day if I want no problem so prices rising more will be great, and overall it will be a great update, just please instead of blindly voting no because ya'll just hate change, give it some thought, consider the possible benefits REALLISTICALLY and weigh the pros and cons then come back to vote at a later time. Sorry for the super run on sentence....lol

Wanna remind all people that 120 skills aren't gonna solve anything. Prestige system is designed to keep the game competitive in an indefinite loop. When implemeting the 120 cap, people will have insta-120's due to their xp amounts. And after all, the problem will rise again: people with 120's get bored. I hope jagex does not give up on the idea of prestige despite the 60% no-votes. Maybe with some adjustments people will get convinced that it actually isn't a bad system. Bossing=P I killed qbd around 40 time and made 19m and that was like 3ish hours I believe, maybe 4

I see. I'm not much of a boss fighter. I'm slow and really bad at it.

Well, I am so bummed that this won't go through. I personally shudder at the idea of grinding skills to 120. A little faster leveling in the beginning is fun and why many people purchase second accounts. After getting max, I just don't find going to 200m xp without a level goal very entertaining. Also, the idea of choosing seemed more then fair.

Many people howled over EOC also. Most people hate change. But I find it to be fun, a challenge, refreshing, and exciting. I dont WANT the game to stay the same. Ugh. How boring. I look forward to seeing what ways Jagex changes this and implements it. Hopefully they won't let the polls keep us from moving forward in some manner.

I truly wonder what a poll would have revealed if one was done on EoC....hmm...

I am impartial towards Prestige update. But I was wondering the above statement quite vigorously. I feel like EoC would have been voted NO. But Jagex made a unilateral decision, as they usually do, and that could be why you can find worlds with less than 100 people in them nowadays.

Jagex also continues to splinter the community into a bunch of sub-factions, thus making the game even more unpleasant.
