Try to remember these items have been out for a fair old length of time; if you have the equippable versions from their initial release then you've had all that time to look elite and well ahead of the pack.
As far as giving out free overrides to those who already possess the originals - its a nice idea but I'm not sure how complicated that process would be or if it's even possible. I'll note it down though.
I bought a game card for the sheer fact that I believed that the flaming skull was going to be gone and I wouldn't have another opportunity. I have not needed to buy a game card for my membership, but i thought a little premium on a skull would be a nice investment. Had I known you would've released a cheaper and more efficient method later, I would have waited. I don't feel elite for having it now. I feel like a fool who's been taken to the cleaners. Now you're trying to weasel out of setting things right? It really hurts.
