I remember when the game was about playing with the content, not the character
a bunch of the things in the store look like they're intentionally meant to be ****** and revealing. i guess it's all in preparation for the construction rework scheduled sometime this year. the combination of those two will likely mark the end of all morality in the game among both players and company (oh wait forgot that last part already happened when they started selling ingame advantages through things like SoF)

That's an interesting idea you have there
what if everyone just started cursing on this thread? it would show us whether or not jagex is actually paying attention to this thread. and if they get reports from the snitch players that theres alot of rulebreaking going on in this thread, they'll come to investigate and see all the cursing but also the complaints

I'm not encouraging this but it is a thought

...having them available again for a limited time or for a select few is one thing that still fits within the definition as not just anybody can get them. having them permenantly available for anybody does not fit within the definition and therefore you are *RACKING LIERS!!!!!!!!! normally i stand by everything you do even if i dont like it but this is a blatent lie and i will not tolerate this kind of behavior toward your players. i am not requesting this, this is an order, you will give the overrides to people who have the items, you will remove them from solomons after a period of 2 weeks, and you will never pull bullcrap like this again. if you fail to comply or respond as to why it is not possible i will begin persuing a class action lawsuit against you. good day to you.

As much as we all want to sue jagex for all the lies, technically what they did was just within the lines of legal. the only reason they're escaping conviction of perjury is that they only said the items were limited edition while the new overrides are permanent. technically they're *** the same thing even though they have the same effect on you

it's really showing how far jagex is willing to go to mislead its players for the sake of getting our money

If you go back and look, the majority of players were angry at jagex for adding things like the SoF and Solomon's General Store
I've never seen anyone demand that limited edition items be added to stores and anyone who said that would have quickly been attacked by other members of the community
there's also a major difference between these services and the loyalty shop. the loyalty shop is a free bonus to members who stay members. the general store and SoF cost extra and are becoming the main focus in jagex's updates, causing focus to be taken away from content and shifted toward profiting off of us

People asked for other ways to obtain the items since they were only available in certain countries. eventually jagex answered that by offering them again one last time in the gold package so that everyone would have the chance. they never asked jagex to make them permanently available. it makes alot of what we paid extra for worthless.
plus many people already bought gamecards for membership so they got the items at no extra cost. it would have been different if they had made them permanent after the cards since they came as a free bonus. part of the high cost for Gold was specifically to pay for these items.

High cost of gold... it was way cheaper then buying a year worth normally and it came with many bonuses.

When others asked for promotional items they just wanted the items at the time and didn't realize if it made much of a difference if it was perm or not.

I asked somewhere for it to be stickied but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. They usually sticky threads late anyway. Otherwise they're paying attention and don't know how to respond yet.
