I'm sorry for all those people who feel ripped off but you've gotta realize that Jagex here are a business and if they think doing this will make you guys buy more Rune coins they'll go ahead with it even if it will tarnish their reputation and cause future reluctance from the playerbase to take part in promos.

C'mon you cowards, what's the hold-up? Could it be the moderators don't want to reply because they KNOW they'll be digging their graves further?

Quit acting like such childish little know-it-alls, hoping that if you don't look, it'll go away. Just because you do something and ignore the response doesn't mean you're right, mods. You have a COMMUNITY! And as moderators- as the people who run the game and expect that community to continue playing- you owe us some ANSWERS!

But you won't give them to us you two-faced, greedy corporate pigs. You can't handle negative feedback; your only focus is on the eleven-year-old children whose mummy and daddy have deep enough pockets to sustain your lust for money. It's why you removed the "Complaints" section of the forum; you just wanted to pretend you're always right.

Well, here's your bloody complaint, official forum or not: you're doing an abysmal job running your business, and you can expect that unless you start showing your community some respect, you can't count one less community member in it. If I'm lucky, others will follow suit.

On a sidenote, I'd love to give a huge shout-out to Mints and Al-Tineen; I've been following the Solomon update threads avidly since the release of pets, and they are both proving valuable community members and wonderful people. Both deserve a medal for standing up so thoroughly to your terrible ideas, Jagex.

Try to remember these items have been out for a fair old length of time; if you have the equippable versions from their initial release then you've had all that time to look elite and well ahead of the pack. :)

As far as giving out free overrides to those who already possess the originals - its a nice idea but I'm not sure how complicated that process would be or if it's even possible. I'll note it down though. :)

Don't worry Mints, everyone asking for p-hats is just being sarcastic; using the terrible moderator logic against them. After all, if they're making these items available after everyone has had their time to look well-ahead of the pack, they're WELL past-due to do the same with party hats, the most elite and ahead-of-the-pack items out there!

At least, I hope.

Focus on getting your problem fixed, not bringing others down with you. That isn't fair and it's immature.

I'm in support of you guys but this is just getting stupid. I know they need to make an override version for those who have the items already. We've already established their "limited edition" item promos are a scam.

Lots of rares are still available in game to buy with Runescape gp. The time it takes to earn enough gp for a rare (plus all the money spent on membership) surpasses the amount of time it took you to earn the money for 1 month of membership. They were holiday items, not promo items.

Please just stop.. We don't need even more angry players. I'd like to see this problem get resolved and make sure no one has to deal with this garbage anymore no matter what the items are.
