I guess if you people buy stuff from a store, then find out they had a sale on said items a day later, you'd go back to the store and demand compensation for the fact you payed more when they weren't on sale?

Things go on sale, price drops happen, etc. and from what I've seen, it's rare that the people in charge give compensation for it. The only time I've ever seen it done was Nintendo with the 3DS Ambassador Program.

Idiots.

Well actually, most stores will give a price adjustment if you purchase an item then it goes on sale a few days later.

Well, I've never seen that done. When I've asked is that was a thing in the past, I've always had people tell me no.

EDIT: After looking into it, certain stores do that, and only within a timeframe, usually that of the refund timeframe.

Except you can't refund these online purchases, so I think those who bought a few days prior to this sale are still boned.

I'm a bit disappointed in this.

I waited patiently for a year for the bank boosters to be available for loyalty points. The BTS showed the bank boosters available for 130k points. They were released for 208k points. I saved my loyalty points since the program started, and I could only afford one bank booster when they were released, and had to wait until I got my next loyalty point payout to buy another. Thats 416k loyalty points, for two bank boosters. And now, a very short while later, they're on sale for 104k points each.

What was the point in making me wait so long, then tricking me into spending all my points, right before you decide to sell them for half the price?

I'm not about to demand a refund or anything, but I kind of feel ripped off.

I know this may be a bit off topic, but I was looking through the sale items on SGS when I noticed that there were cosmetic override versions of certain promo items (barbed bow, turkey hat, flaming skull, scarecrow mask) available. Does everyone have to buy these separately (or use keepsake keys) to have the cosmetic overrides, or did I get screwed because I hadn't retrieved them from Diango when the conversion happened? (my Eastern outfit that I had in my bank converted to cosmetic just fine)

I'm glad the items I bought prior to the sale weren't discounted anyway. I finally got my high alchemy animation at half off though.

I think the smarter move would've been to include the sale WITH the release of the Solomon/Loyalty Store merge. While we wouldn't have the benefit of the bonus loyalty points from Super September, it would've prevented people from spending loyalty points, only to have items like bank boosters discounted several weeks later.

That, or do a refund for people who bought discounted items recently.

Also, this sale seems like it was done BECAUSE of the fact the Dwarf Quest is delayed.
