Newer thought up content.

To the point where it drags out so long there's NOTHING else they can reasonably come up with that won't break the boundaries that is the theme this game is established with.

At the rate they're going with IAPs and constant money grubbing promotions being prioritized over practical lengthy content, and now this? Sad to say it's them stepping one rung further down the ladder they took so long to climb up to proper success.

If you think that a monthly fee entitles someone to just extra content in the game - and not being able to properly state their opinion (since; after all, my money along with others' is going into paying employees' incomes) about something they think won't be good in the long run for the game they pay for..

Then you need a reality check.

Anything else I fork money over for whether some other form of monthly fee or even one-off purchases, I expect what I pay for.. what I've gotten all along.

Not some change that takes away or irritatingly alters my experience. The moment I start seeing in-game adverts for other games that they've had a hand in making, (which it likely will happen, whether or not no adverts is a perk members pay to help avoid) I'll sigh to myself and really start contemplating as to whether or not it's finally time to abandon the sinking ship.

Why would i want to play this crap when there are far better versions of this online already.

It's nice to know you've been spending time on sorting out Runescape's issues though... Funnily enough, i've not even seen a mod comment on this post like they usually do with news posts.

I see your point fluff fox, but as with the other game that Jagex advertised on the Runescape website, Ace of Spades, there were no in game advertisements for it, just a heads up to the general playerbase that, hey, we have this new game, check it out. There is nothing wrong with that.

As for Jagex spending their money on developing new games, why is that a problem?

If Jagex are trying to branch out into making more games and becoming a serious games developer, is that not good news?

Should they just stick to Runescape?

What if this game becomes a success on the mobile platform? This can only mean good things for Jagex as a whole and will give them a good name for when they release Runescape on the mobile platform.

If it flops, oh well, at least they tried.

Yes you pay for your membership, but so do I and I personally think this a step in the right direction for them.
