okay first id like to comment on what kyogre had said previously. It would easily be possible for the broken piece the dragonkin have to either be stolen or they simply get all 100shards and recreate the staff of armadyl, agreeable? Second, Zamorak himself had not been a god either but he was able to take down Zaros in the most ironic way possible, so it CAN be possible but highly unlikely. Yes it is true that Guthix fully stated he never created Gielenor but he did shape and mould it. And it is also true, that somewhere it was stated Guthix doesnt get his power like the other gods and their followers, he gets it from the land of Gielenor and all its living beings. Next we go and contridict what zisis said. Zaros never banned Zamorak, all of the other gods did after taking away Zaros's godhood. It is true about all the zarosians and zamorakians except for 1 minor flaw. It was a zamorakian dragonkin member that went exploring the dungeons of dungeoneering attempting to bring Zamorak back into ***lenor not Zaros. Back in the third age i believe, Saradomin and Zamorak had attempted getting rid of all evidence that Zaros was ever a god because it would be possible for Zaros to come back to Gielenor if he had enough followers.

Ok, the butterfly the gods are going to chase is Guthix, but WHY chase him?
It has been stated that if Guthix awakens from his sleep due to the other gods, he is going to destroy Gielinor, and no god wants that right? Besides how do they chase Guthix when the Edicts stop them?

Anyway, it all sounds very interesting, will probably have something to do with Kharshai and the return of Zaros, but the daemonheim finale will probably involve a final set of Fremennik sagas aswell as the final floors, not a Quest, so i do not think this will reveal whats truly is going to happen at the bottom of daemonheim.

silver i kinda agree with u i just whana state that since zaros was "banned" by zamorak is only logical for zaros to be a mage lord or something and it is older=more wise so i belive that the intetion to reenter zamorak in gielenor will back fire and since zaros smarter i think that he will ulitmatetly come to gieilinor and again for the last zaros isnt bound by the eddicts nor it is known to guthix so its unbound by those eddicts makeing all the gods exept zaro,desert gods, elf gods , and guthix to actually actively interact with the land of gielenor, altho guthix is most unikely to do this because as it is stated he will only wake up when his eddicts or the balance shifts.
with the above in mind only zaros and the ather lesser dietis can interact with the land
thus makeing leeser dietis except zaros not interested in auireing land.
now that we narrowed it to zaros we can safely say the zaros is the empty god
and his troops where taken by zamorak wich can be taken back by zaros from zamorak and makeing the evil troops him thus remaining the balance and lets not say the goblin race (bandos followers) will see a powerfull god killing everyone they will
think the zaros is the actual big high war god since bandos is bound by the edicts
thus makeing the sides sara vs zaros and since zaros isnt after destruction guthix wont think that the land is unbalanced since not bad nor good will prevaily.

omfg what a brain storm that was a good history lesson and i am open to desqouisions

Maybe Nomad is in trouble with Death, because he used the souls of the dead to gain power. But those belong to Death ofcource.
I dont know what he's going to do to Nomad, an possibly to Zimberfizz (did I spelled it right?) because he uses them for his little 'business'. ;)

About the butterfly: I don't come any further then that Guthix was a butterfly... :P

slisis... zaros wasnt banned... he lost his grip on gielinor and faded out to another plane
he will eventually come back odds are guthix will have a word with him or some sort. and seren is also bound by the edicts of guthix seren is what you call the elven god when in fact its somewht of a deity of nature in a manner of speaking seren left a tower to speak with the elves and such in their city.

the desert pantheon is not bound by the edicts of guthix due to them being "lesser gods" so they get to mess around in the desert.

i know it wasnt banned thats why i quoted it is just more understandably by new players
so since seren is out of the question desert gods out of the question then i gues zaros will try to make allies in the desert then come back inc by inch rec;aiming its troop from zamorak and zaros is bound by the eddicts nor does guthix know of his existance as it is stated in one of his letters
i know crappty english sorry bout it
