This was pretty interesting to see, but what I think would be a neat idea is doing a longer BTS or series of BTSs as a sort of 'diary' to creating one piece of content, showing each of those steps you mentioned and how they fit together. For example, you could do a series of them, only a couple of minutes or so each week/month from start to finish, maybe on a quest.
Another idea would be following the progress of a project/update voted on during next year's Runefest, starting from gathering the info at Runefest and detailing how you move forward on it each month until it's release. You could also throw in polls for each step (such as voting on which actor for a character's voice, or which concept art to use).
