^ Not quite correct, weapons matter for gear. That's the reason why there's such a problem to begin with: people can protect item their high level item, rendering their enemy's superior armor irrelevant if the weapon surpasses the tier of the armor.

My last posts were more targeted towards pking itself-this will focus more towards the update:
I watched the vid more carefully and I can almost guarantee that the risk will not be worth it. With so few inventory spaces being free-how is one supposed to survive with all of the loot in their inventory? If one gets the wand-how are they supposed to be able to survive at all? Anticipation/freedom doesn't work so well when even 2 people are attacking at once-much less a swarm of people. This update is not to revive the wilderness-it is to give "pkers" that's too unskilled to kill other pkers a source of free kills (in other words-it's a update for griefers)..at best.
I am also alarmed that jagex staff apparently tests wilderness content with armor that is not actually used. Nobody pks in dragon-it is all rune, batwing, gano, dhide and royal.
In order for pking to revive-we need the skull system returned and for bh worlds to return.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.
