I don't agree with this update to the SoF one bit but to be honest it's only going to be posted for three days.
Jagex obviously understands majority of their players don't want something like this, but it's their game and frankly they can do whatever the hell they want.
But on a personal note, this game wouldn't be anything without us as the players, therefor I believe something should definetely be done about these SoF updates. I'm pretty content that everyone has made a solid agreement on the removal of SoF.

I don't understand why so many players are not supportive of this upcoming update. I mean look, the grand prize is 200 million gold pieces. It'll approximately take more than half a year for a non-member to acquire that amount of money. What I'm trying to drive at is, it doesn't matter if someone who's a newbie in this game actually wins the grand jackpot by luck. I don't see the necessity to get jealous if a newbie were to win it whereas you didn't win anything. This update is beneficial as everyone stands a chance to strike it rich and realise their dreams. After all, life is never fair, it's not purely by sheer hard work but partially but luck. Anyway, you'll lose nothing if you didn't win anything whatsoever. Well, everyone's chances of winning the grand jackpot is equal, not unless if you're a member or have bought extra spins. I hope that Jagex will continue implementing the planned update and not be affected by players' posts or comments. :)

so...
i dont really care about SOF. i dont support it but i also dont mind it.
the chances of someone winning something real good, are pretty low, even if they buy spins.
i also havnt heard of tons of people buying spins, and even if they did, who cares?
they spent there money
i personally dont buy spins, but i look forward to it. i think its a nice little thing to play everyday and who knows, maybe ill be lucky someday. best thing i got was like rune items...not a big deal.

I'm not usually one to complain about a new/future update, in fact I usually get angry at people that just complain or hate EVERY single update, but seriously this is getting out of hand with the SOF stuff. I didn't mind SOf when it was just the 2/day thing, or even when you let us earn them by skilling / compelting D&Ds and stuff, but when I saw you let people BUY them, that made me kinda mad. And now with these weekly updates that basically just bribe people into buying them to win the "limited time prize", wether it he cosmetic stuff, sellable stuff, or just plain out cash, its getting absolutely out of hand.
I don't understand how you could possibly think this is what we want as a celebration to a huge EXTREMELY small amount of people (if any) that will hit the 200m jackpot. and I guarentee you that the person/people that hit it are the ones that bought spins, not the average joe who is happy with his 2 free daily spins.
::end of rant.

You're all idiots. Sof is a daily thing which gives you 2 free items. No reason why all of you are complaining. I mean honestly lets hate getting free items with a chance to win 200m every day?
