Also a second note, this good sir above me reminded me of. What the heck happened to the skill being released early this year? If it wasn't for the fact that I pay attention to every few news updates now and then, I would have missed the SMALL FOOTNOTE that said anything about the skill being delayed, and its not even till after its past halfway through the year before you announce the new skills name, and that its being released later this year. The major reason I was paying attention to the news was for that skills release. I would not be angry right now if I didn't need to dig for any info regarding the release of this skill. Im trying to use a polite vocabulary in this message, but I feel very disgruntled.

The bloom effect in game still hasn't been fixed! I mean haven't you guys noticed it yet??!? The fire in game used to be glowy and nice! Now it is yellow and transparent in an ugly way! The problem is still there not matter if you use
NIVIDIA or ATI/RADEON/AMD
.
And no matter if you use
DIRECTX or OPENGL
. Fix this before I go nuts! Lol!

This. If only the whole forum community were like this. Suggest, don't rage and demand. Glad to see at least one section of the forums knows the difference

Best update to go through RS in a long time. And I'm glad to see J-Town working so hard to get the job done!

Now if they would only advertise and actually try to attract a new generation of scapers rather than only advertising to existing players, we might actually see the population resurgence we have been waiting years for.

I think attracting a new generation is vital in order for runescape to last very much longer, and this has been unfortunately overlooked in light of updates that while fantastic, noone outside of the RS community knows about.

This said, great job Jagex! Loving RS3!

Every time I look at the comments for videos like these I feel part of the most moronic community in gaming history.

Everyone do me a favor, look at the player count at any time during the entire day, subtract however many are on 07 (yes, it counts 07 as well, if you don't believe me then count it yourself), and that's how many people are on RS3.

Over the last 7 (virtually 8 months) this game hasn't grown, not even in the slightest. Compare now to the beginning of 2012 in terms of player activity. "There were more bots," yeah, right, so that's why cws/sws are virtually entirely dead (discounting the fact you need cws as a trim req.), something we have NEVER seen in RuneScape before... Even last year trying to claim there were more bots than there were now, sure, but also the number of legit players was drastically higher.

But hey, it's all good with me, i'm happy BF4 releases around the same time my membership ends, and I won't be resubscribing since the idiot community and Jagex can't wake up to the fact that RuneScape is not growing.

You people can use hypothetical scenarios about it growing in the future and these updates actually being good. Ok, well why? EoC alone hasn't helped this game grow over the last 8 months.

Spineless, that is what the community has become.

I'm surprised at all the positive comments on this thread, normally it's nothing but hate. Just wanted to say that the "world event" shouldn't just be collecting these divine tears.. there should be more to it! more content! graphics are amazing, audio is amazing. now its time for you to work on the gameplay! keep your players interested..before you loose another 100k players.

I'll repeat my comment from page 3:

How the **** does Jagex think that this is the "biggest update ever"?

Runescape 2 Andrew completely rewrote the entire game engine, FROM SCRATCH, and redesigned the entire map of the game, surface above and below, FROM SCRATCH.

That to me, is worthy of the title "RS2". This, is not. If anything, RSHD was RS3, and this is RS3.5.
