I'm a free user, so I have no idea what it's like. I'm super excited for it though; the videos and conversations I've seen look pretty intense. Just one question though; for free players, will there be quests and other things to do that will let us change how OUR game is, or is that special for people who pay? As of right now, being a free player isn't all that exciting; about the best thing to do is go the Grand Exchange and see how expensive everything is. I'm hoping this will change

First off i love a lot of the new beta.
Advantages:
- looks great
- I'm enjoying being able to have my own interface
- looks so much nicer
Disadvantages:
- Slow (hopefully will get fixed)
- The abilities bar doesn't work well
- It DOES NOT save my progress when going back to real game... 3 levels and a few hours all wasted
- Chat doesn't auto scroll to last message
In response to other comments, yes the xp bar is annoying but it can be moved or removed. (Try pressing "esc" then "interface settings", it should be in top right of pop up)
And i am also a mac user, to use this i had to dig out my much unused laptop. The issue is for rs2 and the new beta, we cannot use a mac without the downloadable client :/
Cant wait to see how it ends up and i hope the html5 solves a lot of these issues
