I think I heard at the beginning that HTML5 and NIS would eventually be compressed into a single open "super-beta" towards the end. Can anyone confirm this? Also, if this is true, will it be a separate server or will progress be saved on our real accounts? Click

Hehe, welcome back to the forums - great to have you here! :D

Regarding extended inventory space - the amount of slots you have in the inventory is not changing, but with the New Interface System you can display it differently so it looks like there is more room. :)

Yup, that's absolutely right. In the not-too-distant future, the plan is to roll the NIS and HTML5 feature sets into one uber-Beta, and then you'll be able to really see how beautiful the whole RuneScape 3 package is. ^_^

As for whether that uber-Beta will be interacting with the live game, at the moment the plan is to keep anything involving the New Interface System *separate* from live gameplay, as there are obvious gameplay implications which wouldn't be fair to have kept from some players.

So no, when the NIS & HTML5 projects merge, there will be a final stage of testing that is not linked to the live game. :)

I hope that explains things well enough - thanks for showing an interest!

Aww i hoped this release would have allowed us to test it on our live game profiles :(

How much longer until we are able to do that Drebin :P ?

I find no motivation to play the seperate server as the feedback i submitted has been acted on & is awesome now, just wanting to play it while making progress with my character now.

My favorite feature is the rearranging and positioning of the interface box thingys to how ya like, particularly with the dialogue box. Hate it being on the left of the screen and the inventory and dialogue box being poles apart. :P

Looking great! Really love the levels of customization. I can't tell if the problem everyone was having with their character being too zoomed in was fixed though. Or rather, having a zoom option, but even the furthest zoom out setting still being way too much close for most of our liking.

Big kudos to the team for pioneering html5 in a Web browser. I don't want summer to end... But for rs3 I can't wait.
