Not sure what game all these other people are playing, but I still enjoy myself immensely everyday. Maybe because I play for different reasons, maybe because I play other mmo's as well and take things with a grain of salt, maybe because I'm a realist--I don't know.
I *do* know I love Runescape and I love playing this game, and regardless of what the naysayers might think, *I* still think it's a great game.
On to the celebrations!

I'm so glad I can watch the amount of bots being made per day :D
I was wondering what I was gonna do with the rest of my day until I found the Runescape website and started watching the bots being made! :D sweet

Yea but how many of those 200 million accounts were bots, gold farmers, Chinese sweatshops and duplicates?
Don't get me wrong - 200 million accounts is a great milestone - IF all of those accounts were legit. But with the botting problems, it's nothing to scream about.

Congrats Runescape, now since your are going for the record? there are realy 3 records. the number of accounts that jagex claims and the number of bots on at one time? i dont believe it was before the bot nuke weekend either.
Either way congrats on the number of bots you have produced.
3rd The record of number of bots you have cought and not banned. that is the only number i want to see. ( played since classic )

The sad part is that if they do decide to do giveaways, they will probably put the items on SoF for us to "win", thus coercing us into buying their stupid spins.
Remember when RS used to be about players and not money?

I for one am also a legit player who loves this game i have been playing for 11 years in total, i congratulate runescape and jagex with their success on this game.
But i also do hate the bots which is spoiling the game and i still enjoy rs.
