I'm disappointed at everyone's negativity regarding this monumental achievement. Regardless of how many of those accounts are still active, or which are bots, this is a MONUMENTAL achievement for Runescape.
Kudos to all of you at the Jagex staff you're doing a great job!

How about we get rid of ALL the bots for good this time, then work up to 200 million LEGITIMATE players. That would be a novel idea.
And while you're at it.. maybe actually do something about the gold sellers and the bot sellers.. according to news updates, you went after one bot company.. but apparently that didn't "scare" the rest of them.. and now we seem to be more overrun with bots than ever and nothing ever seems to be getting done about them.
I'd be more happy about 200M players if they were real players and not just some bots.

What proof do we have that this 200 million number is not something they pulled out of a hat, just like the 'statistics' on which they base their decisions about SOF and other things?
SOF wheel is rigged. Why would we not figure that their counter is rigged as well?
I call BULL on this whole "news item"! Remember, we only have jagex/IVP's word that any of this is truth. And we know what their word is worth...

I would like to personally congratulate jagex on their accomplishment. Who cares if it 198,400,000 bots or throwaways..... look how long this game has been around. I think we should give them kudos because no matter what they mess up they always try to give us the players a say so in updates. They do a dang good job if I say so myself, It's very hard tp please every age group. With this said....Jagex, keep on keepin' on.
p.s. thanks for letting us have votes on everything I will always stay loyal to this game.
