It amazes me to see the majority of this thread disagree on what Jagex is trying to do here. Sadly, I will have to go with the majority on this one, i think for the 200m account created you should get rid of all the bots. They're not hard to spot, especially those that work for those sites. People named wreuaouganyt would be an easy target to kick out the door. Shutting down those sites, i am sure there is some legal action you can take against them, which would probably get rid of the vast majority of them. It's not like they try to hide it, i know my pm's in game light up with their spam daily. Not only do they hurt the economy, but there just plain annoying and cause bad game play for others. I know they're a source of income, which is the only thing that i can see that is stopping you guys from booting them all. Personally, I think that would be a nice turn around for the community, to see less botting activity. Let's get that " 50 million Legit players " and then celebrate at 250 million.
I know this is all the same thing that has been said over and over, but as a paying member i think something should be done about this.
Anyway, HAPPY 200 Million, congratulations community and jagex.
Have a good weekend all.
