WHY DON'T YA JUST SHADDAP AND ACCEPT THE FACT THAT JAGEX IS CELEBRATING?! It amazes me that soooo many people are pointing out the silver lining in the celebrations. We understood it the first ten pages, its redundant to go on for one hundred pages worth of "its not 200m, its 100,000" or whatever's worth of active users. I pity jagex for LOOKING for a reason to be all celebretorial, or whatever the word, but why complain?

I wonder if the counter is actually in real time or is designed to reach 200m by a certain date, hm.

Here is some useless maths anyhow:
Runescape was started in January 2001, and 11 whole years have passed since then. (Not counting leapyears)
365 x 11 = 4015 days
We are a few months into the next year, 31+29+31+30+31+14 = 166 days
= 4181 days since Runescape opened (aprx.)
197,840,000/4181 = 40,143 players average sign up a day.
200,000,000 - 197,840,000 = 2,160,000 players left until 200m.
2,160,000/40,143 = 53.8 days until 200m is achieved (aprx.)
Which puts the release date around Wednesday 8th August 2012.
Obviously this isn't accurate because Runescape wasn't well known in 2001, so the averages aren't very accurate. I predict it'll take at least a month for this counter to reach 200m.

This is the dumbest thing I have seen in a while. Jagex, you really must be lacking on ideas now... Why make a counter for the 200 millionth account, when there's still over 2 million accounts to go. This is a real waste of time.
I bet this counter doesn't finish until next year, unless Jagex themselves have rigged it so it finishes at a particular date, which is completely likely, since Jagex will want to make more publicity for themselves.

For starters, active non-member accounts are STILL accounts... I am one such.
150+ quest points is impossible for non-members, though mine is over 100 due to being a member for a time.
50+ stats is ridiculous considering some people don't focus on rounding every stat... my dungeoneering is 5 and my mining is 29. I don't enjoy either; your argument is invalid. I'm level 88 and my total level is barely over 1000, so just don't be ridiculous.
