ummm?????

basically your argument is if jagex can do as few updates as possible it makes more money...and to hell with wat the players want??

If i have understood you correctly then you seem to be missing the point that if jagex doesnt keep their players happy...the players leave to play another game! How would that then make Jagex money??

For this reason (if for no other) it is entirely in Jagex's interest to keep players happy...and isnt that precisely what they are trying to do here??

agree on..
make more money yes.... to hell with the players.. no....

i am saying it left jagex sitting pretty, how they use that power i cant say... but it definity gave them a hugh door way they can walk thru any time they want to..

Please consider reducing the 75% yes requirement. I believe it would be more fair if more than half of the community should make up for the decision and that 75% is too steep. Even 60% to 65% would be more fair. Thank you

@ Mr Togue

Think im too tired for all this really!
Im just saying giving the majority of jagex's membership what they want is the only way Jagex can make money. plenty of other games...and theres always monopoly!

@Tyria Mine

you are mistaken.... i siad i wouldnt play you are correct on that ... then they changed the rules on the voting...

and one has to have at least 100 levels..

so i complyed... i now have a char on 07 with over 100 levels...

and i have a direct interest on what goes on with 07... its called self preservation
i as a eoc player can not deny that 07 is going to either make or break runescape ( noticed i didnt say jagex) i siad runescape ...

jagex will if runescape fails to continue to be profitable will close the doors onj the game.

so i have a interest in the game.. i expect i wil be playing for at least another 5 to 10 years unless jagex shuts the games down..

so i want it to succeed. to show you how much of a player i am ..;. i was a paid in advance player before they came out with the gold membership offer.. i am still currently paid up to september i think (havnt checked latly)

and because i am a paid member i have the right to stay connected to the entire runescape realms..

We have 07scape but we have a version that is not fully 07, this is the August patch 1 patch before god wars if I remember correctly. If people are complaining about these small changes and assume everyone else that is not them are under the age of 15 and have some form of mental illness. This poll is minor, the changes are minor, the extra benefits such as replying to friends and accessing bank is minor and more convenient this wont make it "EoC"scape since EoC was nothing more than a combat evolution. If people are smart they will read what they are voting for and make logical decisions there should be no reasons why we will get "EoC"scape.

Frankly I want to the latest patch before 2007 actually ended. God Wars would be interesting it adds extra to the game and once everything is done nothing will be interesting anymore. Adding more content will be cool even if it is new content that we've never seen before in "EoC"scape

The things in 07 should be in 07scape to give the most authentic experience that everyone wants if people patronize the little things such as this I wonder how interesting it will get once the larger things such as God Wars actually get voted on.
That will be an interesting day in 07scape history.

Question 2 ‘Unidentified herbs’ are changed to become ‘grimy <herbname>’.
Is this really a big deal? The only difference between them is the fact you don't know the name. It doesn't change the fact that you are still playing 07scape or the fact that it will become "EoC"scape. I voted yes.

Open to criticism. Please actually have some sort of opinion and reasons why, don't play the age card like the guy in the first ~10 pages.

The problem is that these "minor changes" are changes nonetheless, and that is the whole point of 07scape, to go back to a time BEFORE the changes. Sure most people will vote "yes" on almost anything because they think that an extra feature or two can't hurt, but that is exactly what made EOC what it is today. PLEASE jagex, you made 07scape so that us veterans could have a good time, please don't fall to the whims of the mass who blindly vote for everything, and leave 07scape alone just as you did with RSC.

"Frankly I want to the latest patch before 2007 actually ended."

Could you clarify if you mean right up to the end of 2007 or not?

Keeping in mind that November '07 brought in the grand exchange...

December '07 brought about the removal of wildy...

I thought that those two were brought into 2008, my bad I had quit during that time. My bad on double post, screwed up :S

Guess i better look up when those ground breaking things came in. I didn't exactly hate the G.E it just made it easier to get things, the only problem though was the fixed prices

And of course PK would stay.

I'm sad to see the grimy herbs are probably not going to make it. I can understand that this is technically a gameplay change and that some people vote against it out of principle. That being said there is really no drawback to having them implemented whatsoever.

Grimy herbs were introduced in September 07, only weeks after the version that we are currently playing.
People can know which unids they are buying. As such, high level unids will still cost more money. There is nothing fairer about this and grimy herbs will not make the price go up. Unless you consider ripping of inexperienced players fair.
