I was wondering just how long it would take for this thread to become a copy/paste spam fest.
Hopefully it will be those folks who leave us all to go play in the past.
I will be voting yes in the hopes that the game gets cleaned up of all the cheating/scamming/spamming players leaving to play the 07 servers.

I think the 2007 RuneScape servers are good, but way to late for us olders who use to play back in 2001-2007. We've got to regain all our items, levels, community and I'm like nearly 21. I haven't got time to do this kind of gaming as I did back in 2001-2007, and all the new players to RuneScape will not like the way how RuneScape was back then. They haven't even got the community we had back then, they've got to quest, level, gain items all over again, it was fun when I was 14 year old coming home from school playing RuneScape, PKing, Staking, etc. I'm not even going to vote for the RuneScape 2007 Servers, JaGeX has done this way to late, how can the RuneScape veteran players come back and regroup the community as we had back then, most of us was born in the early 90s late 80s, so we're all about 18-25 I'm sure everyone at that age has a job to do or even a life to start. No time for gaming as RuneScape is a long game to gain levels, items etc. :|

I put this idea out because a Jmod posted on the front of this thread asking what would be a good way to do it.

People saying that Rare's should be dropped at random times. No, then it wouldn't be classed as "Rare" because everyone will have them. And it'll be just like back in 2004 when those items where only worth around a Million GP.

But the reason why people want them dropped is too just say they have them and it will be a worthless item with no price value.

My idea is for people that put in the time and effort to the game to make money can have a goal to work towards.

Every new account made on runescape now gets a free 14 days trial membership.

But wait! you cannot vote with trial accounts.

But wait again! how much it costs to buy membership on trial accounts???

1.98$!

Make a new trial membership account, buy member for 1.98$ , vote and repeat.

If the whole community does this for 7 time, we will get 750k votes easily.

Please share this everywhere so we can reach our goal and unlock f2p on these servers.

You don't like 07 servers? don't play on it. Least you could do is vote so we can reach the free fee, that is the only logical answer. Yes i know most of you don't actually think rationally.

If you don't like 2007 servers then you have your 2013 servers to play on. Why are you even on this thread expressing your opinion if you prefer EoC over the glory days of runescape. The days with no overpowered weapons, potions, prayers, etc. The days of a ACTUAL COMMUNITY. The days were trading was useful, with no grandexchange. The REAL merchanting days. Get real Reply
