Most people quit rs, because of stupid updates along with no time left cuz of irl stuff. Now they want to bring back old rs...well great news except you are not gonna get all the old players back because "WE" dont have the time to train for hours. Plus the clan world died....and it wont be resurrected if they all are lvl 3s and plus no f2p ??? Most clans started off in f2p so i dont get this stupid idea.

They only have a 2007 backup, stop asking for higher or lower years.
Stop asking for G.E. or curses and such because they are not there, most people asked for non G.E scape.

2007 was awesome. I am 20 years old and i have a job and a life. But i don't mind starting over, i would love it :)

Do most people really prefer 2007 to pre EoC runescape?
Wouldn't it be more logical just to make a 2012 server, and allow players to transfer their stats? They could still charge extra money.

The game content only improved from 2007, it doesnt make since to push the severs that far back. From what I know, 2007 RS was very limited as far as options.
I would think there are more people who appreciate 2011 RS to 2007...

I loved this era of Runescape.

Before crazy specs, d claws, overpowered dung weapons and potions, stupid prayers, a community that became focused only on making money, endless pages of emotes and microtransactions shoved in our faces every 5 seconds and the eoc.

Barrows was basically the best armour, castle wars wasn't full of maxed players, level 100 combat was actually respected, money was much harder to make. No merch clans/gamblers ruining the economy. We had bots but the new technology should help with that.

Seriously hope this gets 500k votes at least.

Every new account made on runescape now gets a free 14 days trial membership.

But wait! you cannot vote with trial accounts.

But wait again! how much it costs to buy membership on trial accounts???

1.98$!

Make a new trial membership account, buy member for 1.98$ , vote and repeat.

If the whole community does this for 7 time, we will get 750k votes easily.

Please share this everywhere so we can reach our goal and unlock f2p on these servers.
