Concern!!! Resetting stats to one??


I had the thought of our accounts being reset to the exact state they were as of august 2007!! This would also include quests and music unlocks and if possible items too. This would basically time warp us right back where we left off many years ago.

If the players account was not created before this date then they would start from all level one stats. I think this idea makes the most sense as starting from level one would result in way to many people trying to train at chickens and goblins at once..And also take the economy way to long to get going.

With this idea we would already have some players with high stats to get items and the majority would be noobs with a granite plate and d long (like i was) and then we have the newer players who would start from level 3.

Aside from this I don't think keeping our current stats would make much sense as training now is far to easy and most everyone is maxed combat or close to it.

Another quick alternative would be to half the levels of our current combat stats and then resetting all other stats back to one. Again this would help the economy get going at a reasonable pace but also provide for an area to start anew. Concerned this idea is getting lost in spam. As ideas arn't allowed on the rest of forums..

Jagex, I am a huge fan of this, but I have a few questions that I would appreciate being answered. I just recently bought Gold Premier Club, and I would like to know if the 12 months of membership included will go to old servers? Also, will it cancel out any additional fees if need be? I am not as well off as some people and I had to wait a long time to get Gold Premiere Club, and I would not be able to pay for extra membership. Please answer!

didn't you read the part about starting from scratch also i want god war's back also but it was after 07 that it was implemented, maybe you should petition for that once a majority of people are around the level from back then required to do god wars they could easily add it in (heres assuming anyway) ... also before you tell me to stfu i have been playing since 04 just never did god wars till 2010 because of being predominantly a skiller and quitting multiple times...

great idea! Although I have a few later updates that id like to see added to the 2007 version of the game:

- Grimy herbs intead of unidentified herb (anti-scam measures)
- The Modified-trade-exclamation mark (also @duel arena) (anti-scam)
- Nerf of pest control (this was wildy out of control at the time)
- Remove random events
- Add a money pouch
- Add the toolbelt

Also what are you planning to do with discontinued items? Are they going to be removed entirely? I cannot thing of a runescape without party hats :(

Rip my 113+12 Maxed Mid level perfected over years of playing. This is ******** jagex you guys already have no people playing and you want this many votes, you guys really ruined a great game and it sucks. No faith in this anymore.
