well, now that i think about it. the 07' runescape server will be separate from the main game and that will mean i have to start all over from scratch with a new character. so I'm not sure about this cause no telling how many 100's of days if not years i spent developing my character into what he's at now. and runescape 07' server feels like the original runescape to me. with this new "evolution of combat" now added then it doesn't feel like runescape much. just feels like a boring game that's not worth playing much unless you guys make the game more like the graphics of silkroadonline, pristontale or world of WarCraft then it wouldn't be a cool adventuress game to play with. and besides... runescape is supposed to be "that game" more of all about being nostalgia. and every other game that i played has never changed dramtically like runescape has changed. and i like to play runescape like i used to play it. cause i guarantee it more then half the players of runescape that are not Botters would love to play the original 07' runescape and would not like to start all over again from scratch of making a new character. and I'm not talking about the new players of runescape that has never lived the nostalgia days of "runescape 07". I remember this game at one time had over 1,000,000 players online cause it was a fun educated game. and its where I learned what's flax and how to craft and such in real life. all I'm saying is runescape isn't what it used to be or what it should be.

P.S. don't completely kill the Nostalgia Game everyone has ever enjoyed playing.

I am happy for a choice other than EOC, but can this discrepancy please be addressed and why not give us something closer to Nov 2012 version???? From EoC 2 Q&A Transcript Nov 19th 2012

Pi: Functionally, it does work to the point where we are happy to release it. I think you’d have to define doesn’t work. The old combat system is still there, we haven’t deleted the code although we’d be much happier to slowly phase things in to make the new combat system closer to the old one rather than just completely flip over because we do have that problem where we can’t progress, we can’t push forward and that’s not somewhere where we’d be happy to go back to.

2007 - Old School RuneScape... You Vote

Finally, I’m very happy to report that we have indeed managed to recover a full RuneScape backup from August 2007. This is a complete snapshot of the game, which we have been able to verify would work, with some time and effort invested in it. Ironically, in October 2007 we actually changed our backup systems, so we have no complete content versions from August onwards that are viable for this purpose.

This is a sad money grab!! Please People be careful what you settle for!!!!!!!!!

It shocks me how many people aren't actually reading the post before posting idiotic complaints like "OMG THIZ IZ SO DUM I WORKED SO HARD TO LVL UP AND NOW WE HAVE 2 START OVAR???" People are stupid. Anyway, I hope there are enough votes for at least Level 3! I started playing RS back in 2003/2004 so this would be very cool.

For the people saying we demand a free vote I must ask why is it more 'FAIR'

JaGeX wants real numbers here and having a free vote is stupid, people will make vote bots designed to make accounts just to vote, this will give JaGeX false numbers to work with... I know members only voting isn't the best way to do it, but free votes is much worse...

The only decent way that I've seen mentioned is if they have EVER had membership in the past, probably for a total of more than a few months. For example if you've had more than 2-4 months membership over the past 10 years...
