No thanks, voting no.
The only thing that made me think maybe was "We wouldn’t ever add any micropayment updates." Too bad they don't think like that to save the current game. I'm not going to vote 'yes' ju** for other players, as I really think the game is going towards a better future (minus a few down-falls). Most of the players who rage about the EoC or current game need to take a look at themselves firs*. Most of us grew up playing this game as kids, and that is what we are used to. Getting that old RuneScape back isn't going to make us any younger. We are getting older too, and the same games don't interest us as much anymore. I really don't think that everyone who is going to vote 'yes' is thinking about it much. Will you honestly play as much as you did back then, if at all? Look at Classic, do we still play that?
SoF and SGS needs removed from the current game. People say EoC ruined a lot of the progress towards future statistics, but I really think the micro-payments laid a huge dent that will not have a come-back. It was one of the stupidest moves a company can make to keep its players, as it will never work. EoC is a great progression and addition to RuneScape, but the main reason nobody really likes it is that Jagex decided to release it way too early. If it was given enough beta time and polls, it would be loved by the whole community! Everything now is related to micro-payment updates for Solomon or the damn Squeal of Fortune that no one cares about.
I'm also going to say something about the 'extra fees' that they plan to add if enough votes are not given. I don't support this idea at all. If the vote wins any 'tiers' back, it should be free of cost. It wasn't our decision for the change, and we have to pay for your mistakes? No thanks. Just a small thought, but why don't you use all of the staff you hired from micro-payments to work in this department? Oh wait, they're now working on more bogus SGS and SoF updates. Pathetic ...
