The game was better during 2007, we all know that. Starting fresh won't be fun either, I worked hard back then in hope of the game remaining the same or at least better than how it is now. You might as well just bring 2007 back completely.

Also, you're seriously trying to make money out of voting? Wow. "Our current members are the ones we know for sure are committed to RuneScape and have the biggest stake in our future." Tell me more about how players and members weren't as committed back in 2007, before they quit due to the game being ruined. The majority of them will probably be wanting to vote, I'm just going by everyone I know that's spoken to me and told me this. I don't see why they should have to waste money on a game they currently dislike for it to happen.

This is a really good start to the year, Jagex! Will make sure to vote tomorrow, a 2007 version would definitely make me far more active on Runescape. I know you're trying hard on this game but EoC just wasn't for me... :P

Also, can someone tell me whether friends chats were around in 2007? I can't remember O_o




What you know of as friends chat in current game was clan chat in '07, hope that helps.

i just want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for even considering restoring the old runescape. for a long time i searched everywhere just trying to play the old runescape because in my opinion, no offense to the new runescape and your developement team, the old runescape is MUCH better. im extremely happy and excited for this to happen and if it does im guaranteed to restore my membership just to play it. i think its a great idea for the players who enjoyed the old more than the new runescape to be able to play it again as the way it was back then. you have my vote and if i could i would vote a million times more just for it to happen i would. good job listening to the community jagex finally we have the old runescape back. if i could make a few suggestions it would be that the old armor and wepeons such as godswords, darkbows, barrow sets, and void etc. were to stay in the game they were great and something to look forward to once you achieved them just because of how they look. thank you again jagex for the possiblity of restoring the old runescape.

This sounds amazing as I have been playing this game ever since I was a youngster. I have a few questions myself, since we have to start over on the 2007 server, will our current accounts, the one I use to log into current Runescape be affected in any way shape or form? I have worked hard for these levels, but if these levels are not affected in the current Runescape I would be more then happy to vote for 2007 servers :) . I would also love to play Old School. as I miss it very much.

NO your ingame stats on the EOC servers will not be affected at all. You will just be starting from stratch on the 07 servers.
